Occult Power Meaning: Dreamspell vs. the MMS Tree of Life

Occult Power and Occult Kin are Dreamspell terms. They are not the names MyMayanSign uses for a position in its Tree of Life. Earlier versions of this article mixed a 20-seal formula with a 260-Kin position. That method has been removed because it does not calculate the MMS Tree of Life.

What Occult Power means in Dreamspell

Dreamspell describes an “occult” or hidden complement inside its modern Kin oracle. The concept belongs to Dreamspell’s color-coded Solar Seals, tone vocabulary, and 260-position arrangement. It should be interpreted with a Dreamspell source or calculator that documents its method.

Do not take a Solar Seal number, subtract it from 21, and then present the result as a 260-position Kin. Those are different number ranges. Mixing them can produce a label that looks precise while answering the wrong calculation.

What MyMayanSign uses instead

MyMayanSign uses a traditional Tzolk’in calculation with GMT 584283 and its own Tree of Life framework. The Core Kin is the birth-date Day Sign and Tone. Other Tree of Life positions, including Youth, Mature or Guide, Male, and Female positions, are calculated from their relationship to the Core Kin.

MMS does not rename one of those positions “Occult Power.” A Dreamspell Occult Kin and an MMS Tree of Life position should not be treated as the same feature.

How to avoid a system mix-up

  1. Check whether the source says Dreamspell, Solar Seal, Kin oracle, Wavespell, or Castle.
  2. Check whether the source says GMT 584283, Day Sign, Trecena, and Tree of Life.
  3. Keep the result inside the system that calculated it.
  4. Reject any formula that switches between a 1-to-20 seal number and a 1-to-260 Kin position without explaining the conversion.

A grounded way to use the concept

If you study Dreamspell, treat an Occult Kin as a modern reflective symbol rather than a verified MMS chart position. If you want the MMS framework, begin with the Core Kin and read the actual Tree of Life positions calculated from the same birth date.
