At several points in my travels, I was told that shamans who had mastered the subtle energies within the human body (like the Feathered Serpent energy symbolized by this day sign) were initiated into the upper levels of the indigenous priesthood on high-numbered Kan days (like this one). This might well be called a day of “High Magic.” Today may bring powerful and intense insights or experiences; and all of them may be shaped to our greater good.
