Kawoq is one of the most important day signs of the principle of the Divine Feminine.

It is also known as the day of the Universal Community. This makes sense, for home is a community in itself, homes are the center of any community, and woman is the center of the home. In some Mayan languages, notably Yucatec, the word for “home” (na) is the same as the word for “mother.” But this day sign is also called the Celestial Home of the Gods, for our earthly home is modeled on a more heavenly abode.

Storm is the nineteenth day sign in the Mayan sign system. It is also known by the name Cauac, Kawoq, and even the Society.

If you’re a storm person, you’re blowing like a hurricane. You are very enthusiastic, very alive, and very youthful.

This makes you a very quick learner and a very good student in life. However, you can hurt yourself here and there, like a little child. But that’s okay because this is who you are. Just be careful, but don’t stop yourself from going to the experience directly.

I would say that this sign has a lot to do with the society and community around you. In some Mayan ways, this sign is not called the Storm, it is called the Society. So, the group of people you are born into is very important. You have strong connections with them, even with the larger circles. And they will support you, especially your family, so you can get to a very good position, a place of authority. But remember, this place of authority is a place to serve others – the community and society. Remember this, so that you don’t abuse this power. Your spiritual purpose is to serve others.
